Disney trip 2007

So I finally got my disney pictures uploaded. We have been home for a week and we are getting back to reality. So here is a quick recap of our trip. We decided to fly, that was a great decision. Amelia is getting to be an old pro at flying. It is so nice to not have to fight her anymore. We got to do the preschool early morning activity the day after we arrived. Amelia loved it. She was playing games with Daisy and Minnie and then we went over to play hide and seek and red light green light with Pooh and Tigger. She was pretty mad when we left them to go ride a ride. She was pretty annoyed for another couple days when we didn't go back and do that everyday. She also ate lunch with Cinderella. They handed out swords and wands when we sat down. What a great idea!:) She spent the whole lunch sword fighting with her cousins instead of eating. She had a little chat with Cinderella about her dress and gave her a hug. It was pretty cute. From there on out we pretty much followed everyone around. She didn't want to see the shows because we took her to see the little mermaid black light puppet show and it scared her. So we kind of made her go to the Beauty and the Beast show because it was an outdoor broadway style show. She said she was afraid of the Beast so we closed our eyes and covered our ears when he was on stage. She ended up watching the last half of it and I think she finally got the story. She was watching Beast "dieing" on the stage and really looked worried. She now sees Beast as the hero and not the villian. She is getting so old. She understands so much. She didn't like the dark rides and since we did the Pooh ride first and it was in the dark, it was a fight to get her to ride anything until the end of the trip. Then she wanted to ride everything right when it was too busy to ride. She loved the meals we had with all the characters. We were lucky enough to win 2 random prizes from the Year of a Million Dreams. We got a free pin trading lanyards with two collectors pins and mickey ears. All the kids liked trading pins with the cast members. We were amazed that she was able to master the potty training while she was there. Thanks Shannon for giving me the courage to try to keep her going while on vacation. Anyway, overall it was a great trip. I will post some pictures.

I guess THAT'S how you do Disney.

What a great trip. Love the photos too; what a darling slide show. There aren't enough of you in them though, and no matter what you say, you will regret that one day!

Looks like we're gonna have to try Disney sooner than we initially planned.
