Olivia the Brave!

We refer to our little Liv as the baby coal miner. She likes nothing more than to climb under into small places. She is digging for something to eat. She is unlike her big sister in many ways but there is no bigger difference than their approach to food. If you know Amelia, you know she eats like a bird. Not only does she eat small amounts like a bird would but she literally picks little pieces off the top as she runs through the kitchen like she is swooping down and snagging a pinch. Olivia would sit in the highchair and eat for as long as I would shovel it on. The only requirment, She has to feed herself.

There was a point to this post. The impressive move of the day- She realized that she could use her arms to pull herself up. She grabbed the side of the couch, pulled herself onto her knees, and then up to her feet. She looked up with a grin, she was pretty proud. It only took that one time. She has been doing it over and over all evening long, just because she can.

So just as we got really good and making sure there isn't anything she could choke on under the furniture where she would go mining for it, she is now terrorizing the surfaces of the furniture. Now I have to go around the take everything off the top too. I guess someone had to force me to be a cleaner person.
